POWERS "I am most interested in work that triggers a reaction. It can be as simple as using a glass cup or as profound as the most powerful installation work. I hold no hierarchy to any form of creative practice or to any level of experience. The fact that someone is creating, whether through play or rigorous fabrication, is important to me. In my design practice I am interested in creating objects that people will use and enjoy; that are a link to my personality. Through my sculptural work I hope to promote playfulness, wonder, phenomenology, and ideas that will encourage people to explore everything they see."
